We offer a 2-year limited warranty on every room you purchase, and cover the full cost of repairs or replacements needed due to manufacturing defects. Read on for all details surrounding our ROOM Warranty Policy, and don’t hesitate to connect should you have questions.

This Warranty Policy is incorporated by reference into our Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) and is subject to the provisions of the Terms. All terms not defined herein will have the meanings set forth in the Terms.
We offer a standard 2-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship on all main parts in ROOM Units (ROOM phone booths and meeting room products, herein referred to as “Units”). This limited warranty is subject to the terms and conditions stated below.
The limited warranty for the Units remains in force for two (2) years and is valid from the date of purchase. The original purchase receipt is required as proof of purchase.
The limited warranty covers defects in material and workmanship on all main parts in the Unit, from the date of purchase, when used normally in accordance with our recommended guidelines, which will be communicated or provided to you and will include technical specifications, user manuals and service communications. For the avoidance of doubt, the limited warranty also covers all built-in hardware and features within each Unit (including smart sensors).
Except where prohibited by applicable law, this limited warranty is non-transferable and is limited to the original purchaser and the jurisdiction in which the Unit was purchased.
ROOM will examine the Unit and decide, at its sole discretion, if it is covered under this limited warranty. If considered covered, ROOM through its own service operations, will then, at its sole discretion, either repair the defective Unit or part thereof or replace it with the same or a comparable product. If it is covered by this limited warranty, ROOM will pay the costs of repairs, spare parts, labor, and travel for repair personnel, that ROOM incurs, provided that the Unit or part thereof is accessible for repair without special expenditure. This does not apply to any repair work not authorized by ROOM. ROOM retains all right, title and ownership over any and all replaced parts used in repair work that is covered by the limited warranty. If the item is no longer sold by ROOM, ROOM will provide an appropriate replacement. It is ROOM that determines, at its sole discretion, what constitutes an appropriate replacement for a Unit.
This limited warranty does not apply to any non-ROOM branded hardware products, or any software, even if packaged or sold with ROOM branded Units. Other sellers may provide their own warranties to you for their own products or products or otherwise.

This warranty is void if any serial number has been removed or defaced from the Unit.
We offer an extended warranty for one (1) year terms for Units that are covered by our ROOM Protection Plan, part of Room Service subscriptions (the “Protection Plan”). While our standard limited warranty, which runs for two (2) years as described above, is free of charge, the Protection Plan runs for a one (1) year period for which you agree to pay annually in advance the amount that is specified in the Protection Plan for each Unit that is covered by a Protection Plan. This means, for example, that if you elect to subscribe to the Protection Plan for four (4) of our Units to which the Protection Plan applies, you agree to pay ROOM an amount equal to the aggregate total, per year, of the amounts specified in each Protection Plan applicable to each of the four (4) Units. The Protection Plan will automatically renew for additional one (1) year terms for as long as you maintain your Room Service subscription, unless you decide to terminate your Room Service subscription.

Before providing warranty service under either the limited warranty or the Protection Plan, we (or our agents) may require that you furnish proof of purchase details, respond to questions designed to assist with diagnosing potential issues and follow our procedures for obtaining warranty service (which procedures may be obtained by contacting us at firstname.lastname@example.org). Following warranty service, you will be responsible for adding any parts to your Unit. Recovery and reinstallation of other software programs, data and information are not covered under this warranty.
