Limited Warranty
We offer a standard 2-year Limited Warranty against defects in materials and workmanship on all main parts in ROOM Unit(s) (ROOM Phone Booth and Meeting Room products, herein referred to as “Unit(s)”). This Limited Warranty is subject to the conditions stated below.
How long is this Limited Warranty valid?
The Limited Warranty for your ROOM Unit(s) remains in force for two (2) years and is valid from the date of purchase. The original purchase receipt is required as proof of purchase.
What is covered under the Limited Warranty?
The Limited Warranty covers defects in material and workmanship on all main parts in the Unit(s), from the date of purchase, when used normally in accordance with our recommended guidelines, which will include technical specifications, User Manuals, and service communications. The Limited Warranty does not cover non-ROOM branded components, including but not limited to, audio and video conferencing equipment.
Except where prohibited by applicable law, this Limited Warranty is non-transferable and is limited to the original purchaser and the jurisdiction in which the Unit was purchased.
Limited Warranty – What are our responsibilities?
ROOM will examine the Unit(s) and decide, at its sole discretion, if the Unit is covered under this Limited Warranty. If considered covered, ROOM, through its own service operations, will then, at its sole discretion, either repair the defective Unit(s), or part thereof, or replace it with the same or comparable product(s). If it is covered by this Limited Warranty, ROOM will pay the costs of repairs, spare parts, labor, and travel for repair personnel that ROOM incurs, provided that the Unit, or part thereof, is accessible for repair without special expenditure. This does not apply to:
- Unit(s) that must be moved for ROOM and/or repair personnel to perform the required repair and/or replacement Unit(s).
- Unit(s) that must be in any way altered in order for ROOM and/or repair personnel to perform the required repair and/or replacement including Unit(s) with:
- Pendent sprinklers
- Fire alarm strobes
- Seismic anchors
- Any repair work not authorized by ROOM.
ROOM retains all right, title and ownership over any and all replaced parts used in repair work that is covered by the Limited Warranty. If the item is no longer sold by ROOM, ROOM will provide an appropriate replacement. It is ROOM that determines, at its sole discretion, what constitutes an appropriate replacement for a Unit.
What is not covered under this Limited Warranty?
This Limited Warranty does not apply to any non-ROOM branded hardware products, or any software, even if packaged or sold with ROOM branded Unit(s) and is void if any serial number has been removed or defaced from the Unit(s).
