Question 1

Where can I see the Room Collection?

Accepted Answer

Seeing our Room Collection units is the best way to get to know the product line. To find a showroom near you, simply click here to select the location and time that works best for your schedule.

If you’re not able to visit any of our showrooms, you can schedule a live virtual demo by clicking on the same link above. We’ll walk you through the key product features and do a quick sound test, so you can decide whether ROOM is the right solution for your team. If you have any follow-up questions after the demo, you can reach out to us anytime by sending us an email at support@room.com or giving us a call at (646) 791-3726.

Question 2

Just how soundproof is the Room Collection?

Accepted Answer

Our Room Collection units reduce noise by 31 decibels on the NIC scale.

What does that mean for those of us who aren’t acoustical engineers? Simply put, our Room Collection units are designed to create an ideal environment for focused work, as well as private phone calls and video calls while protecting the privacy of the users. Users inside our office pods will hear muffled sounds from the outside, and this is because we’ve found that ambient noise provides the best experience for the user. Coworkers outside the room will not be able to hear the conversation taking place inside.

Question 3

Is The Room Collection ventilated?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely! Whether you’re having a quick connect or on an hour-long video conference or a personal worksession, it’s important to us that you feel cool, calm, and collected in our Room Collection units. Each room comes equipped with ultra-quiet fans located in the roof and discreet air inlets to keep the air inside fresh at all times.

Plus, our units are SCS Indoor Advantage Gold Certified, SCS’s Global Services highest level of indoor air quality performance for furniture. This certification assures that our products support a healthy indoor environment by meeting strict chemical emission limits for VOCs.

Question 4

Can I move my Room Collection units to another space?

Accepted Answer

Of course, that’s the beauty of modular construction! But, we do recommend using our professional disassembly staff for Room Collection moves, be it within an existing space or to a new one. Please contact us at support@room.com for a quote.
